DISPENSING SYSTEMS (Online and Hands-on) 

5-10 hours for the online course
5 days for the classroom portion of the course    

The first part of this course is the online Canadian Dispensing Systems pre-course, which must be completed prior to attending class. It covers all Gilbarco Dispensers: Legacy, Advantage, Eclipse, Encore 300 & Encore 500 (including the S Series). Technicians learn how to install, start up, program and troubleshoot dispensers. It has been completely updated to reflect the newest boards and features sets, and FlexPay IV. The 10-15 hour on-line course is accessible from any broadband-connected computer using a Windows operating system. Once technicians have taken this on-line prerequisite course, they will complete an online exam. Scoring 80% or higher on this exam will allow technicians to attend the 5-day Dispensing Systems Hands-On Class with an instructor.
 

The second part of the training is a hands-on class which allows technicians to apply the information covered in the online course using and learn to upload software, program dispensers and set up and use their laptop. At the end of the class a final exam is held in order to issue certification. This certification includes FlexPay IV.

Prerequisites:
6 months field experience, POST safety certification, and complete and pass the online Dispensing Systems pre-course
